A delightful rectangular ornamental box, decorated with an adorable mounted figurine of Peter Rabbit from the classic Beatrix Potter children's books. As in the book, Peter -famous for wearing a bright blue jacket- sneaks into Mr McGregor's garden and eats all of the vegetables in the vegetable patch. This piece illustrates the story, with the lid decorated as the vegetable patch and Peter eating the radishes. The box itself is illustrated with floral patterns and the aforementioned quote.
