This is the delightful miniature resin figurine of Mrs. Tiggy-winkle, the hedgehog laundress from the popular children's literature by Beatrix Potter. Mrs. Tiggy-winkle in famously hospitable and works as a washerwoman for the animals of the farm, specialising in small articles of clothing such as gloves and handkerchiefs. Here she can be seen in her traditional pink petticoat and white apron, plus a mop cap that fails to hide her spiky fur. It is an excellent collector's piece.
