This is the delightful resin figurine illustrating the beloved children's book character Mrs. Tiggy-winkle, the hedgehog laundress. Mrs. Tiggy-winkle lives in a burrow in the side of a hill, where she specialises in cleaning clothes for the other animals around the farm yard. She often runs errands, and here she can be seen with her shopping bag, dressed in her usual petticoat, apron and mop cap -which the spikes of her fur protrude through- and a vivid pink and green shawl. It makes an excellent collector's piece but would also be a pleasant gift for a fan of the books.
