This beautiful figurine depicts the beloved children's character of Mrs Tiggy-Winkle the hedgehog from the classic series of illustrated children's books by Beatrix Potter. Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle makes her living as a washerwoman for all of the creatures of Beatrix Potter's books, and often delivers them freshly-laundered clothes. Here we see her dressed in her washwoman attire: a pinafore apron over a pink dress and a pink flowery hat. She is sitting on a little wooden stool, sipping a cup of tea. This figurine makes a wonderful gift for a child -especially a young lady- who would no doubt enjoy the bright colours and the adorable nature of the character.
