A wonderful miniature figurine portraying a scene from the beloved childrens books of Beatrix Potter. Mrs. Josephine Rabbit (née Bunny) is the wise, widowed mother of the famous Peter Rabbit, and can be seen here, sitting in a wooden chair with a basket of wool making her living through the knitting of rabbit-wool mittens and muffetees, whilst one of her daughters -Peter's sister- Flopsy Bunny is nestled neatly at her feet. It is beautifully designed and coloured in bright blues and fawns, as was the style of the original book illustrations.
